The Tempo A400 was a small German utility vehicle of the 1930s with an unusual three-wheel layout — one wheel at the front and two at the rear. It was powered by a small engine and, thanks to its low price and economy, it served tradesmen, shops and services as an affordable delivery vehicle. Its characteristic silhouette makes it a rewarding subject for civilian and period scenes alike.
The kit contains a lot of small parts, so build it in subassemblies and keep test-fitting dry as you go. Paint the interior and the cab before closing them up. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue, and mask and paint the clear parts separately. The glossy painted areas of the body come alive with fine highlighting and restrained weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
