This is a detailing accessory in 1:35 scale, not a vehicle model. The set contains faithful rubber tires with a finely rendered tread pattern that look realistic, like real rubber. They can be used on models of modern military and civilian vehicles or placed loose in a diorama.
The tires will fill out a scene as spare wheels, as rubber left lying by a workshop or as a detail in the corner of a diorama, and so increase its credibility. The flexible material holds its shape well and is easy to fit onto the wheel hubs of suitable vehicles.
Degrease the surface of the tires before painting. For a faithful look, matte black to dark gray with a fine hint of dust works well; dry brushing will bring the sidewalls to life and pigments will dirty the bottom of the rubber. To glue them onto plastic wheel hubs, use cyanoacrylate.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints and a vehicle model are not included in the package.
