The Elefant 1:35 set of tow cable clamps for the American Sherman tank contains 40 fine 3D-printed parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory detail set of 3D-printed parts from the manufacturer Elefant in 1:35 scale. It is NOT a kit but a set of the small clamps with which tow cables were fastened to the hull of a tank. The package contains 40 pieces, so it is enough to equip a whole vehicle and to keep spares for building several models. Printed parts have markedly finer detail than coarse plastic or cast substitutes.
The American M4 Sherman medium tank was the most widespread Allied tank of the Second World War. On the hull and the sides it carried tow cables fastened by a row of small metal clamps, which are a conspicuous element of the vehicle's equipment when seen close up.
Separate the small parts carefully from the carriers with a sharp cutter, ideally under a magnifier. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) in a small amount. Apply a primer before painting; then paint the clamps together with the hull and bring them out with a wash and drybrushing so that their shape shows.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
