ICM 1:35 V3000S Einheitsfahrerhaus is a plastic kit of the German truck of the Second World War with the standardized simplified cab.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German military truck V3000S with the standardized cab (Einheitsfahrerhaus) in 1:35 scale from ICM. The model offers a detailed engine and driver's cab, clear parts and a decal sheet.
The V3000S was a three-ton truck assembled at the Ford plant in Cologne and powered by a gasoline eight-cylinder engine. From 1943 these vehicles were fitted with the so-called standardized cab, the Einheitsfahrerhaus, made of pressed wood for cheaper production and to simplify manufacture under the wartime shortage of raw materials. The vehicle was an important part of German logistics.
We recommend assembling and painting the chassis, the engine and the cab first, and only then closing the bodywork up. Use liquid cement for plastic on the joints, a primer and an airbrush. A fine wash and dry weathering bring the wooden cab to life; apply dust and mud pigments to the chassis and the wheels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
