An injection-molded plastic kit of the Type 033 Romeo Class submarine in 1:350 scale from Hobby Boss. A small model of the SH-5 aircraft is included in the box as well.
Type 033 is the Chinese version of the Soviet Romeo class diesel-electric submarine. These were classic postwar attack submarines with diesel-electric propulsion, intended for patrol and training duty. In their day they were among the numerous types and many of them were exported to foreign navies.
Glue the hull from its halves and sand the parting seam on the rounded side carefully. An airbrush and dark naval shades suit the painting; we recommend a base primer, a matte clear coat and a light emphasis of the rivets and hatches. Build and paint the small additional aircraft separately.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
