A set of small shipboard models, Trumpeter UH-1N Huey (1:350) — the American utility helicopter for warship dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded set from Trumpeter contains twelve small models of the American UH-1N Huey utility helicopter in 1:350 scale. It is not a large stand-alone model but an accessory meant to populate the decks of warship and amphibious ship models. The box contains several pieces; the parts are simple, including the clear glazing. A decal sheet is part of the set.
The Bell UH-1N Huey is an American twin-engine utility helicopter, a version of the legendary Huey family. It served with the Marine Corps, the Navy and the Air Force for transport, liaison and support.
Given the size of the parts, work with tweezers and a sharp knife; glue the delicate main rotor and the small joints with super glue. Apply a thin primer before painting, spray with an airbrush and mask the clear glazing. It works well to paint the aircraft away from the ship model and fit them at the very end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
