A detailed 3D-printed resin figure of a pilot sitting in an early IC-2 / IG-2 ejection seat, meant for models of the A-7 Corsair II attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. The figure brings the cockpit to life and is ideal both for a static display of the aircraft and for dioramas on a base or on a carrier deck.
The A-7 Corsair II was an American subsonic carrier-borne attack aircraft in service from the second half of the 1960s. It served with the US Navy and the US Air Force and was known for its long range and its accuracy in ground attack. The figure of a pilot in full gear with a helmet and a life vest captures the typical look of aircrew of the period.
First wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut them carefully from the print supports and sand the surfaces down with respiratory protection. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue. Use acrylic figure paints; bring out the face and the gear with glazes and dry brushing.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
