The Lightning is a British supersonic interceptor and its silhouette cannot be mistaken for anything else: it carries its pair of jet engines stacked one above the other in the fuselage, its wing is strongly swept with a cranked leading edge and a prominent belly tank hangs under the fuselage. The machine came from English Electric and the later stages of its production fell to successor companies, which is why two makers are named in the designation. The F.6 version is the final production form of the interceptor variant, and the designation F.3A belongs to the interim form between the F.3 and the F.6.
A stand-alone decal sheet in 1:48 scale, listed for both of the forms named. Which particular machines are covered, what national insignia, numbers and lettering they carry and exactly where each element belongs are given by the manufacturer in the instructions to the sheet. Printed markings keep crisp edges even on the small lettering and maintenance marks, where a brush would inevitably bleed in this scale.
A decal sheet is supplied. The model, the paints, the varnishes and the softener are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
