CMK Blenheim Mk.II of the Finnish Air Force, retractable ski undercarriage 1:48 is a resin conversion set which completes a model of the Blenheim with a winter ski undercarriage and reworked engine nacelles.

A resin set from the Czech manufacturer CMK which converts a model of the Bristol Blenheim in 1:48 scale into the Finnish Air Force version with a winter ski undercarriage. This is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory. This variant corresponds to the retractable type of skis, for the installation of which the engine nacelles had to be reworked as well, so the set contains not only the skis but these reworked nacelles too.
The Finnish Air Force operated Blenheims during the winter months with a ski undercarriage, which made operation from snow-covered and iced-over surfaces possible. Two types of ski were used, a fixed one and a retractable one. It is precisely the retractable form, in which the skis were partly stowed away together with the landing gear, that this set captures.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Since the engine nacelles are being replaced, count on careful fitting and on filling the transitions where needed. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a conversion accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
