An injection-molded plastic kit of the Brazilian turboprop aircraft Embraer EMB-314 Super Tucano in 1:48 scale from Hobby Boss. The kit has a detailed cockpit, landing gear bays and propeller; the exact package contents are given in the enclosed instructions. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The EMB-314 Super Tucano (also designated A-29 in American service) is a modern single-engine turboprop aircraft intended for light attack duties, counter-insurgency operations, close air support and pilot training. It has a glazed canopy with a two-man tandem crew, armor protection and several underwing hardpoints for bombs, rockets and gun pods. It serves with a number of air forces around the world.
Finish and paint the cockpit and the landing gear bays before you close the fuselage. Mask the large canopy glazing and spray the framing separately, so that the two-seat layout stands out. Fit the external stores carefully at the very end. Spray the base coat over a primer and seat the decals on a gloss coat. Leave the propeller and the exhausts until last because of the weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
