A set of color three-dimensional decals for the cockpit of the single-seat F-15C fighter in its early form, 1:48 scale. It is intended for the Hasegawa kit.

The real subject

The F-15C is the single-seat fighter version of the Eagle, which followed on from the first production machines and became the main means of defending the airspace for long years. Outwardly it hardly differs from its predecessors; the changes took place inside. The set is aimed at the earlier production machines, whose cockpit is still built on round instruments, not on the screens of the later upgrades.

What the set contains

Color interior elements with a raised relief, that is the instrument panel, the side panels and the other surfaces of the cockpit. The dials, the scales and the lettering are done in color, so you do not have to paint them in by hand. The exact extent of the sheet is given by the maker in the instructions.

Application tips

• The way they are applied differs from one range to another, so follow the instructions from the maker Kelik.
• Varnish the base first, let it dry thoroughly and degrease it; the elements hold only on a smooth, clean surface.
• Pick the elements up with tweezers, seat them dry and press them down with a soft tool so that they settle into the corners as well.
• Keep an eye on the form: the early and the later F-15C cockpit differ in their instruments, and that shows on the finished model.
