A color 3D decal interior set in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Quinta Studio. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory for the cockpit. The parts are produced by full-color 3D printing with three-dimensional, raised detail on the instrument panel, the side panels, the levers and the switches. The set is intended for models of the updated single-seat F/A-18A++ Hornet fighter in this scale.
The elements combine the look of a decal with the three-dimensionality of photo-etch — they are thicker than ordinary decals and carry relief, thanks to which the cockpit gains depth and legible instruments without laborious painting. The updated version has different cockpit equipment, which the set captures faithfully.
Release the elements from the backing in water and, once removed, fix them with a suitable adhesive (for example a thin coat of gloss varnish), not with a decal softener. Even the surfaces out beforehand so that they are smooth and clean. Work according to the instructions and seat the small parts with tweezers.
This is an interior detail accessory, not a model. The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
