A detail accessory cast in resin, not an aircraft model. The set contains a pair of Soviet FAB-500 M-54 aerial bombs, high-explosive fragmentation bombs of the 500 kg class that were among the basic external stores of Soviet and Russian combat aircraft such as the Su-17, Su-24 and Su-25. The box holds 2 pieces and is intended for fitting to plastic kits in 1:48 scale. The set is made by Reskit, the Ukrainian specialist in resin and 3D-printed accessories.
The FAB-500 is a family of Soviet general-purpose aerial bombs weighing around 500 kilograms. The M-54 version is distinguished by its characteristic body and fins and is one of the most widespread stores carried by aircraft of eastern design; faithful bombs therefore lift the look of an armed model considerably.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, racks, paints and glue are not included in the package. Use a respirator and ventilate when sanding resin.
