An accessory set of the ram air turbine for a model of the American A-6 carrier bomber in 1:48. It is not a model of the aircraft but a replacement part. The ram air turbine is a small propeller that the aircraft extends into the airflow as soon as it loses its main source of electricity or of hydraulic pressure. The airflow spins it, and it drives an emergency generator or pump.
Cut the parts off the casting blocks with a fine saw and sand the cut surface. Wash the resin in lukewarm water with detergent before painting, because of the mold release residue. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). In 1:48 the blades are even smaller than in larger scales, so handle the part with tweezers by its carrier and fit the turbine at the end of the build. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set contains only the parts of the turbine. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
