FuG 217 Neptun radar antennas is a 3D-printed detail set for the night versions of the Fw 190 A-6/A-7/A-8 R11 in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed detail set capturing the antennas of the FuG 217 Neptun airborne radar with which the night fighter versions of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 (the R11 fit) were equipped. It is not an airplane kit but an accessory for superdetailing a basic Fw 190 model in 1:48 scale.
The FuG 217 Neptun was a German airborne search radar from the end of the Second World War. The characteristic rod antennas on the wings and the fuselage turned the day fighter Fw 190 into a makeshift night fighter able to catch enemy bombers.
Separate the antennas carefully from the print supports, clean them up and try the fit dry. The thin rods are fragile, so work calmly; they are glued with cyanoacrylate glue and a primer is useful before painting.
Supplied as a separate detail set without paints or glue.
