Pre-cut self-adhesive masks from Reskit made for models of the British Harrier GR1/GR3 V/STOL aircraft in 1:48 scale. The masks follow the frames of the cockpit glazing and other areas with sharp transitions exactly, so that clean, sharp edges appear when spraying and no paint creeps under. It is not a kit and not decals, but a painting aid. The cut is based on the Kinetic kit; on a model from another maker the set need not fit.
Peel the mask carefully off its backing, place it precisely on the part and press it down so that it adheres well around the edges. Apply the paint in thin coats; lift the mask off while the finish is still slightly supple, so that the edge does not peel.
