Horten Ho 229 double-sided masking set 1:48 (Omask) for precise masking of the canopy glazing when painting a model of the tailless jet flying wing.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped masking pieces made of kabuki tape, intended to cover the canopy glazing during spraying and painting. The double-sided version means that the masks cover the canopy frame from the outside and from the inside, so the frames stay in the interior color from within and in the camouflage color from outside. The set is worked out for the Horten Ho 229 model in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit and not a part of the model: it is an accessory that makes painting easier. The set is cut for the Ho 229 kit from Zoukei Mura.
The Horten Ho 229 was a German experimental tailless jet-powered flying wing from the end of the Second World War. Its bold aerodynamic concept, with no fuselage and no tail surfaces, makes it one of the most striking projects of its time and a popular subject among aircraft modelers.
This is a masking accessory, not a model. The paints, the glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
