About product

Omask 1:48 Junkers Ju-88C-6 (R4+GK)

A set of self-adhesive masking films for an airbrush, with which you spray the fuselage codes R4+GK and the national insignia of one particular machine. Sprayed markings merge with the finish and no glossy film appears as with decals. The masks are cut to fit the plastic Ju 88C-6 kit in 1:48 scale.

The real subject

The Junkers Ju 88C-6 was the heavy fighter and night fighter version of the Ju 88 with a solid nose in place of the glazed bomber cockpit. It carried concentrated cannon armament in the nose of the fuselage and was used as a destroyer and a night fighter.

Use

  • Transfer the masks onto a dry base coat at the place of the codes and the insignia.
  • Press the edges down carefully against paint creeping under.
  • Spray the paint in thin coats.
  • Once it has flashed off, lift the mask away carefully.

Who it is for

  • Modelers who want sprayed codes instead of decals
  • Builders of Luftwaffe heavy fighters in 1:48 scale
  • Anyone wanting a clean matte surface on the markings

This is a modeling accessory (masking film), not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
