An injection-molded plastic kit of the single-engine transport aircraft Junkers W.34hi in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Mikromir. It is a newer tooling with fine detail; according to the figures of the manufacturer the package contains photo-etched parts, painting masks and 3D decals for the instrument panel and the seat belts, with a choice of two color schemes.
The Junkers W.34 was an all-metal high-wing aircraft built from the end of the 1920s as a mail, cargo and passenger aircraft. The derived W.34hi version, powered by a BMW 132 radial engine, was built in large numbers and also served with the Luftwaffe on transport and training tasks. The type was exported to a number of countries.
It is a short-run kit, suited rather to more experienced modelers, so count on careful cleaning up of the parts and a dry test before gluing. Finish the cockpit with its 3D decals before the fuselage is closed, and protect the glazing with the masks supplied. Apply the paints with an airbrush over a primer.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
