This is a resin (3D-printed) detail set, not a kit. The set from Quinta Studio holds main landing gear wheels with a radial tread pattern on the tire in 1:48 scale for Soviet fighters of the Second World War — the LaGG-3, MiG-3, La-5/La-7/La-9, Yak-7/Yak-9 and I-185/250. The finely printed tires and discs replace the simplified plastic parts and may be done with a realistic flattening where they meet the ground.

Use

• Separate the wheels from the supports and wash the uncured print resin residue off them.
• Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
• Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
• Paint the discs and the tires separately and bring the tread out with a pigment or a wash.
