A 3D-printed set from Reskit containing four French Matra MICA air-to-air guided missiles in the EM version (radar guidance) in 1:48 scale. The set serves to complete the armament of models of modern fighters. Unlike the IR version with an infrared seeker, this version has an active radar seeker. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for more experienced modelers.
The Matra MICA is a French multi-purpose air-to-air guided missile carried by the Rafale, the Mirage 2000, the Gripen and the Eurofighter. The EM version has an active radar (electromagnetic) seeker that works reliably in poor visibility and against targets with a small heat signature. It can be told apart from outside by the pointed, opaque front of the seeker.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Use respiratory protection when sanding. Spray the missiles and pick the detail out lightly.
This is an add-on 3D-printed armament set, not the model itself. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
