This 3D printed resin exhaust nozzle replaces the plastic part on a MiG-17F model in 1:48 scale. Reskit stand out for their fine printing, so the internal vanes, the joints in the metal skin and the shape of the nozzle read realistically even when lit.
It is not an airplane model but a detail part for the rear end on its own. It goes in place of the less faithful plastic nozzle and visibly raises the level of a finished model, especially the view into the exhaust.
Wash the print resin residue off the part, cut off the supports and clean it up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. The inside of the nozzle is best painted before the final fitting; metal shades are best sprayed with an airbrush.
It is supplied unpainted, as a 3D printed resin accessory. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
