This set from Reskit brings four large-caliber unguided S-24 aircraft rockets in 1:48 scale together with the APU-68 launch rails. The parts are executed as fine resin, that is 3D-printed, parts with crisp detail that faithfully replace or supplement the external stores of models of Soviet and Russian combat aircraft. It is not an airplane kit but an aftermarket armament accessory for an existing model.
The S-24 is a Soviet large-caliber unguided rocket (240 mm) meant for attacks on ground targets. It was carried by a wide range of tactical and ground-attack aircraft on individual APU-68 launch rails and was marked by strong destructive effect against fortified and area targets.
Wash the print resin residue off the printed resin parts, separate them carefully from the print supports and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the rockets and pick out the stencils before fitting; take care to place them correctly on the rails according to the configuration of the particular aircraft.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
