SMB-2 Super Mystère - ejection seat 1:48 (Special Hobby)

This resin, 3D-printed detail set is NOT an aircraft model but an accessory for superdetailing the cockpit of the French supersonic fighter SMB-2 Super Mystère in 1:48 scale. It brings a finely printed ejection seat with a molded-in seat harness and a markedly higher level of detail than the plastic part from the base kit.

Use

  • A replacement for the plastic seat in an open cockpit.
  • Greater realism in the most visible part of the interior.
  • Suitable for display models with the canopy slid back.

Who it is for

The set is meant for more advanced modelers who want to raise the level of cockpit detail. It assumes experience in working with resin.

Wash the uncured print resin residue off the seat, cut it carefully away from the print supports and glue it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin.
