A set of colored, pre-printed 3D decals for rendering the inside of the cockpit in 1:72 scale from the accessory maker Kelik. It is not a kit but a decal film with a relief, three-dimensionally layered print that reproduces the instrument panel, the side consoles and the controls. Color printing saves time when detailing a small interior in a small scale. The set is intended for Italeri kits.

The real subject

The Sea Harrier FRS.1 was a carrier-borne vertical takeoff fighter and reconnaissance aircraft (V/STOL) of the Royal Navy. It became famous for its service from light aircraft carriers during the Falklands War, where it carried out air defense and strike tasks. It was marked by a raised cockpit with a better view than the land-based Harriers.

Use

• Cut the film out, dip it in lukewarm water for 30 to 60 seconds and slide it onto the surface.
• Apply it onto a smoothly painted and ideally gloss surface and squeeze the excess water out gently.
• Press the element gently into the relief with a soft cotton bud and, once dry, go over it with a matte clear coat. Check in the manufacturer's instructions whether a decal softener can be used on it.
