An injection-molded plastic set of figures of British light cavalry of 1815 in 1:72 scale from Italeri. The set holds mounted troopers in period uniforms and poses, which you can place in dioramas of the Napoleonic Wars or use to expand a military collection. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
British light cavalry played a key role in the Napoleonic Wars in reconnaissance, pursuit and swift attacks. In 1815, at the time of the Waterloo campaign, the light cavalry was made up of regiments of light dragoons and hussars in striking uniforms. It was valued for its mobility and speed on the battlefield.
Cut the small parts from the sprues and bond them with cement for plastic; dry-fit to check how the riders sit in the saddles. The uniforms call for careful painting of detail, and the result will be brought out by a fine wash into the folds and a dry brush on the equipment. Paint the horses in natural coat shades and add the harness and straps.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
