A model of the American twin-engined Douglas C-41A transport aircraft — the VIP staff version from the DC-3 / C-47 family, scale 1:72. A kit to be glued and painted.
The C-41A was one particular DC-3A aircraft delivered to the US Army Air Corps in 1939 and used as a VIP and staff transport; it was powered by Pratt & Whitney R-1830 Twin Wasp radial engines and instead of ordinary seats it had fittings for a conference in flight. It belongs to the famous Douglas DC-3 family.
It is worth building the model in subassemblies and testing the fit of the parts dry before gluing. Paint the cockpit and the interior and, if you wish, pick them out with a wash before closing the fuselage. For the best result use a good thin cement for plastic, fine files and, after the primer coat, an airbrush. Apply the decals over a gloss coat and seal them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
