A set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks of thin kabuki film in 1:72 scale for the German fighter Dornier Do-335 in the A-1, A-0 and B-4 versions. This is not a model and not decals but an aid for painting the frames of the glazed canopy and other areas cleanly. The masks are adapted to the Do-335 kits from Dragon, Revell and Hobby 2000.
The individual masks are placed precisely on the canopy glazing, pressed into the edges of the frames, and the surrounding areas are covered. The frame color is then applied with an airbrush or a brush; once dry the mask is peeled off and a sharp transition between frame and clear area remains. Masking saves time and gives a far more accurate result than painting the frames by hand with a brush.
This is a mask set for painting, not an aircraft model. Paints and the kit are not included in the package.
