Interior 3D decals 1:72 for the F-4B and F-4N Phantom II from Kelik raise the detail of both cockpits of a model with a color relief design of the instrument panels and side consoles.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory decal set, not a kit. The design of the instrument panels and interior consoles is in color and has a three-dimensional structure, so the dials and controls stand out above the surface. The set covers the naval versions of the Phantom II designated F-4B and F-4N and is cut for the Hasegawa kit.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is a two-seat, twin-engine fighter with a characteristic cranked wing and drooping horizontal tail surfaces. The F-4B version was the basic fighter variant of the US Navy; the F-4N came from it as a later modernization with a rebuilt airframe and reworked avionics. The Phantom has two separate cockpits one behind the other, so the interior detail really does show on a finished model.
Paint the surfaces under the decal with the base interior color and let them dry. Soak the decal in warm water, slide it into place and blot away the excess water. 3D decals are less pliable than ordinary ones, so on curved surfaces press them down gradually with a soft cloth. Use the softener sparingly, so that the relief does not collapse. Unify the cockpit at the end with a matte varnish and bring out the shadows between the panels with a thin wash.
The package contains the decals only. The kit, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
