Turned metal barrels for the Japanese 10 cm/65 Type 98 gun in 1:200 scale from the Polish brand MASTER. It is not a ship model but a detail accessory: eight precisely machined barrels of 100 mm caliber that will replace the plastic parts of a ship kit.
The 10 cm/65 Type 98 gun was a powerful high-velocity dual-purpose gun of the Imperial Japanese Navy. In twin mountings it armed above all anti-aircraft destroyers and a light cruiser, and it counted as one of the best Japanese anti-aircraft weapons.
The slender metal barrels have a faithful muzzle and do not warp as plastic does. Separate them carefully, level the seating face and glue them on with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the metal before painting and use a base coat (primer).
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
