This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains laser-cut parts representing grapevine for building dioramas, scenic bases and display scenes. It is not a model or a photo-etched metal set for a particular kit but a scenic accessory in a fine material from which you assemble realistic grapevine tendrils and leaves. Since it is a free-standing vegetation element, it is not tied to a single scale.
Grapevine suits dioramas with a rural, wine-growing or southern European theme, for covering walls, pergolas and fences, or as an addition to figures and vehicles on a scenic base. The finely cut leaves look convincing even at close range.
Separate the parts carefully, bend the individual leaves and tendrils into a natural shape and join or attach them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with PVA glue. Paint the vegetation with an airbrush or a brush in shades of green and add pigments for a faithful look. Varying the shades of the leaves raises the realism.
The set contains only the laser-cut vegetation parts. Paints, glue, the base and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
