A 3D-printed (resin) armament set from Reskit in 1:72 scale. It contains two anti-radar Kh-58U missiles along with their matching AKU-58 ejector launch rails, on which the missiles are mounted. Direct 3D printing guarantees sharp edges and a fine surface. This is not an aircraft model, but supplementary armament for Soviet and Russian combat aircraft.
The Kh-58 is a Soviet guided anti-radar missile designed to destroy enemy air defense radars. It homed in on their transmissions and was carried by aircraft such as the MiG-25BM and Su-24. The Kh-58U version had extended range. The AKU-58 launch rail ejects the missile from the aircraft before launch.
Wash the resin parts to remove residue of mold release agent, separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Protect your airways when sanding; use a primer before painting.
This is a supplementary resin armament set, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
