An injection-molded plastic kit of the German L1500S light truck in the 4x2 road version in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Attack. It is a short-run kit complemented by photo-etched parts, clear parts and resin wheels. Because of these additional materials the model is intended rather for more experienced modelers.
The L1500S was a standardized light truck of around 1.5 ton payload, used by the German army during the Second World War. The 4x2 version had drive to the rear axle only and served for transport and supply tasks in the rear and at the front. An off-road variant with drive to all wheels also existed.
With a short-run kit, expect careful cleaning up of the parts and some fitting. Glue the photo-etched parts with super glue and first wash the mold release residue off the resin wheels. Paint the inside of the cab and the cargo bed before they are closed. Early vehicles carry overall Panzergrau, later ones a yellow base color; a wash and dust pigments complete the weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
