This is a set of photo-etched seat belts, printed in color at the factory. It is not a kit, but a fine accessory with which you bring the cockpit of a model of the British four-engine Avro Lancaster heavy bomber in 1:72 scale to life. The color printing faithfully imitates the straps and the fittings, and there is no painting by hand to do.
The Avro Lancaster was the key British night bomber of the Second World War, famous for its long-range raids and its special operations. In 1:72 scale it is a popular subject, and detailed belts give the pilot's position and the crew stations a realism that small plastic parts cannot offer.
Separate the straps from the fret, shape them by bending them over an edge so that they drape naturally, and glue them with a small quantity of cyanoacrylate glue or with glue made for photo-etch. The color layer does not take kindly to aggressive thinners, so handle them with care.
The accessory is supplied unassembled. The base model and the glue are not included in the package.
