This set is NOT a model of the aircraft but a resin detail accessory. It replaces the kit wheels with faithfully cast resin wheels with the late type of tire and with realistic flattening where they touch the ground (a weighted profile). Made for models of the C-130 Hercules in 1:72 scale.
Resin wheels have a sharper tread and finer hub detail than injection-molded parts. The weighted profile gives a model on its landing gear a natural impression of the weight of the aircraft. The set matches the late variant of the wheels.
First wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the surfaces (use breathing protection). Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tires a flat dark gray and the hubs in the shade of the subject, and dust pigments can be added at the end.
The set holds resin parts only. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
