The MJ-1, nicknamed Jammer, is an American self-propelled munitions loader. The low chassis vehicle with a hydraulic lifting platform serves to let the ground crew bring a bomb or a rocket under the wing or fuselage of an aircraft and raise it exactly into the rack. That is why you meet it so often in photographs from airfields: it belongs to the equipment without which an aircraft cannot be made ready for combat. The B and C designations tell the later forms of the machine apart.
This is a 3D-printed kit in 1:72 scale, that is a standalone model of the vehicle, not a conversion set. The parts are printed in high resolution and held on print supports; you will find no sprues and no casting blocks on them. The exact contents of the box and the order of assembly are given by the manufacturer's instructions.
Cut the supports away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the remaining stub off carefully, so as not to damage the edge. The parts are not polystyrene and ordinary modeling cement has no effect on them; they are glued with cyanoacrylate glue or with an adhesive for resin. Before painting, wash and degrease everything so that no print resin residue stays on the surface, and use a primer. The thin parts are brittle, so handle them in tweezers and do not try to bend them.
The model will be appreciated by a builder of airfield scenes who wants to add equipment beside an aircraft, and by a collector of ground vehicles in 1:72 scale. Paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
