The Pilatus PC-7 is a Swiss single-engine turboprop trainer. The crew sits in tandem, and power comes from a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-series turboprop engine. A low-wing aircraft with good flying qualities, it has proven itself as both a basic and an advanced trainer and has been exported to numerous countries, where it is used to train military pilots. Thanks to its reliability and low operating costs, it remains a long-standing favorite among turboprop trainers.
With short-run kits, clean up the mold seams and dry-fit the parts before gluing. Glue the plastic with a thinner liquid cement. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush is ideal, and the striking training schemes with bold color blocks reward careful masking of the color boundaries followed by subtle highlighting of the details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
