1:72 RNZAF Insignia 1943-45 are water-slide decals with the national insignia of the Royal New Zealand Air Force of 1943 to 1945 from Mark I.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds the standard national insignia of the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) used in the years 1943 to 1945 in 1:72 scale. The decals are screen-printed and are supplied in two identical sheets, so you can fit out more than one model with them.
The sheets bring roundels for the wings, the fuselage and the vertical tail surface in several sizes matching the real markings of the day. For the Pacific theater, markings without the red center were typical, so that they would not be mistaken for Japanese insignia. The set therefore makes it possible to finish New Zealand machines of the second half of the war faithfully.
Apply them onto smooth gloss varnish, so that silvering does not occur. Dip the motif in lukewarm water for a few seconds, slide it into place and blot the surplus water away. A softener will help the decal settle; once dry, cover it with clear varnish.
This is a decal set, not a kit. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
