Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss captures the Soviet mobile coastal missile system 4K51 Rubezh with P-15 anti-ship missiles. The launcher is mounted on the chassis of a heavy all-wheel drive cross-country vehicle. The kit contains more than a hundred parts, rubber tires and decals. The model combines interesting missile equipment with a rugged carrier.
The 4K51 Rubezh system served to defend the coast and to destroy surface targets with P-15 anti-ship missiles of the Termit family. The mobile launcher on a heavy eight-wheeled chassis made it possible to change the firing position quickly. The system was widely exported and stayed in service with a number of armies for a long time.
Assemble and paint the chassis and the running gear before seating the superstructure. Use liquid cement for plastic, and choose a suitable glue for the rubber tires. A base coat, details brought out with a wash and fine pigments for deposits of dust suit a faithful look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
