Responsibility details are not available.
An extensive battle and diorama set in 1:72 scale from Italeri devoted to the fighting for Stalingrad in 1942. The package combines injection-molded plastic infantry figures, vehicles and a gun with a large factory building that forms the backdrop of the scene. The plastic parts are supplied unpainted; paints, glue and any accessories are not included, unless stated otherwise.
The Battle of Stalingrad is among the hardest engagements of the Second World War. From the summer of 1942 the Soviet Red Army and German units fought for control of the city on the Volga, and the fighting also concentrated in an extensive industrial area with a large tractor factory. The static street fighting for individual buildings gave rise to the term rat war.
Glue the small plastic parts and the figures with thin cement for plastic and clean up the sprue marks. It is best to treat the set as the basis of a diorama - paint the figures with a brush in layers, the vehicles with an airbrush, and even the whole out with washes and pigments for the mud and dust effects typical of a winter battlefield.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
