Responsibility details are not available.
A set of figures from the brand Mars in 1:72 scale capturing the dragoons of the Swedish army of the Thirty Years' War period, that is of the conflict of the years 1618 to 1648. Sweden entered it in 1630 with a landing in Pomerania, and its army then marched deep into central Europe. A dragoon at that time was an infantryman carried on horseback: he rode to the battlefield, dismounted and fought with his musket on the ground. That is exactly why dragoon units were committed where speed mattered, that is to seize a bridge or a ford, to secure a village before the arrival of the main body or to screen a march.
The number in the name distinguishes the individual sets of the same subject within the line, so that both can be bought side by side and the number of figures and the range of poses in a scene can be increased. In 1:72 scale an adult figure corresponds to roughly 24 mm.
It comes out best in a scene with movement: a unit dismounting by a fence, a patrol at the edge of a wood or a ford that has been seized. It will complete infantry, artillery and cavalry of the same scale.
Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
