A plastic kit of the Soviet T-34/76 medium tank in the 1942 production configuration with the cast turret, in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian maker UM (UniModels). The model is supplied as injection-molded plastic to be assembled and painted, and it captures one particular wartime version.
The T-34 was among the most significant medium tanks of the Second World War. The T-34/76 version carried a 76.2 mm gun and stood out for its combination of armor, mobility and firepower. The 1942 configuration was marked by the cast turret, which made mass production simpler and faster. The tank formed the backbone of the Soviet armored forces.
Finish the running gear before you close the hull. A primer works well, then a uniform Soviet protective green with an airbrush, washes in the recesses and dust or mud pigments, which will bring out the running gear and the lower hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
