The M1A2 SEP is a modernized version of the American main battle tank Abrams. It is powered by a gas turbine, its main armament is a 120 mm smoothbore gun, and it has a crew of four. The TUSK package (Tank Urban Survival Kit) and its more advanced TUSK II version were developed based on experience from urban combat — they add reactive armor tiles, protective shields and other elements that improve the tank's survivability in close combat.
As with military equipment, assemble and, if you wish, paint the running gear before closing up the hull. Glue the plastic with a thin liquid modeling cement, and cut and clean up the parts carefully because of the fine details in this small scale. Apply the base shade with an airbrush, and for depth and wear use darker washes into recesses and pigments or dry pigments for the mud and dust effects typical of field service.
