The Kawasaki Ninja H2R is the extreme form of a sports motorcycle. It is powered by a supercharged inline four-cylinder engine, the fairing is sharply cut and carries winglets on its sides, which are to press the machine down to the ground at high speed. It differs from its road counterpart in being intended exclusively for closed circuits, so it lacks the equipment needed for use on public roads. The year 2018 in the name distinguishes the model year of the subject.
It is a plastic model of a motorcycle in 1:9. That is a rewarding size for a motorcycle: the finished model is about the length of a forearm, so the frame, the engine and the mounting of the wheels can be rendered convincingly and it still fits on an ordinary shelf.
