A resin model of the airfield tow bar for the Su-35 in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. The bar connects the nose landing gear of the aircraft to a tractor and is used when the machine is moved around an airfield. Printing in resin holds even the thin lugs and pins. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a finished model and for a diorama.
The Su-35 is the most capable single-seat machine of the Su-27 family, with a new airframe and with thrust vectoring engines. It is a large and heavy fighter whose movement around the flight line is handled by a tractor, so as to save fuel and so that the blast from the engines does not endanger the surroundings. In photographs from a base the tow bar is therefore a common piece of equipment, even though a viewer mostly does not notice it.
Release the parts from the supports with a new blade over a working surface; the lugs on the ends are thin. Sand the marks off with fine abrasive paper, wet. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Airfield equipment tends to be strikingly colorful and scuffed at the same time, so after the base color suggest scuffs on the edges and dust the lower part with a pigment.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
