Responsibility details are not available.
A paint set from the IONIC range listed under the Real Heavy Metal theme. The designation Antique Gold names the color theme: an antique gold tone, that is gold subdued into an older, used look. The shades of the set follow on from a dark shadow to the lightest accent, so an area can be shaded without buying further paints.
An antique gold tone sits on historical and fantasy subjects: ironwork and bindings, frames, candlesticks, the ornaments of armor, temple and ceremonial elements, the grips of weapons. It comes into its own everywhere a surface is to look as though it has already seen something, and where new glossy gold would look out of place.
Shake the bottle properly before use, as the pigment of metallic shades settles at the bottom. Apply the paint in thin coats and let them dry. You will strengthen the impression of age by leaving the darker shade from the set settled in the hollows and keeping the light one only on the exposed edges. Use the thinner intended for this range; the thinning ratio follows the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging. Unify the surface in advance with a base coat and varnish the finished work at the end.
For figure painters and modelers of historical and fantasy subjects who want the scale of one metallic theme together. The paints are applied with a brush; for spraying, thinning according to the manufacturer's instructions is needed. The set serves for painting, and the model, brushes and thinner are not supplied with the paints, unless stated otherwise.
