These are water-thinnable, odorless acrylics that can be applied with a brush and with an airbrush. Each bottle contains a stainless steel mixing ball, so the pigment can be stirred back in even after longer standing.
This is not a set of shades for one particular army or air force. It is a basic palette from which you mix your own tones, or with which you fine-tune shades you already have. Six pure colors cover most ordinary needs, so you do not have to keep individual bottles that would only be used for a few drops. Pure cyan, red and yellow are essentially the printing primaries, so a very wide spectrum of tones can be mixed from them, and black and white then shift the resulting shade toward shadow or toward light.
For beginning modelers who are putting a palette together, and for advanced ones who mix their own shades and need clean starting colors. It also suits painting figures and accessories, where small amounts are used. The stainless steel ball in the bottle saves time with paints that are only used occasionally.
