F-104G Egg is a stylized egg-shaped plastic kit of the legendary F-104G Starfighter fighter in a charming caricature form.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit belongs to the line of egg-shaped caricature models, the so-called egg planes. The subject is the F-104G Starfighter jet fighter, which the model treats in a charmingly deformed style with a big head and shortened proportions. It is not a scale model but a stylized caricature, which is why no conventional scale is given for it. The package covers the version in the colors of the Republic of China Air Force.
The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter was a supersonic fighter with characteristically short straight wings, nicknamed for its looks the missile with a man in it. The F-104G version served with a number of air forces around the world and became an icon of the Cold War.
Separate the parts from the sprue and clean up the mold seams. Use thin cement for plastic. Even on egg models a primer and a gloss coat under the decals pay off. The caricature shape is a rewarding way to practice painting without a large investment of time.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
