A Hataka paint set from the Blue Line range for models of Finnish Air Force aircraft of the Second World War, volume one.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of Hataka modeling paints from the Blue Line range, put together for Finnish Air Force aircraft of the Second World War period. The designation Volume 1 means the first part, which the manufacturer follows with further sets on the same theme.
Finnish aircraft of that time had their own color scheme, which does not overlap with British or German shades: dark upper surfaces with a pronounced wavy pattern, a light underside and conspicuous yellow recognition areas. Mixing such shades from an ordinary palette is a nuisance and the result does not match the second time when topping up the color. A ready-made set removes that problem and holds the whole model in one family of shades.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before work, otherwise the settled pigment stays at the bottom and the shade will not match. Apply in thin coats and let each one set. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's data for the given range; the individual ranges of this manufacturer differ in composition, so do not go by habit from another range. Wash the tools out straight after work.
For builders of aircraft models who are taking on Finnish machines and want the color scheme sorted out in one purchase.
The paints are what is supplied. The model, thinner, clear coat and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
