GLASS FIBER BRUSH (4 MM)

Vallejo Glass Fiber Brush (4 mm) — a glass fiber brush

The Vallejo glass fiber brush is a pen with extendable glass fibers 4 mm in diameter. It serves for cleaning, deburring and preparing surfaces — it reliably removes rust, oxidation, excess material and burrs and polishes small areas. The extending mechanism (similar to a mechanical pencil) lets you expose more or less of the fibers as needed and feed them out gradually as they wear down.

Use

• It cleans and deburrs metal parts, photo-etch and other small components.
• It removes rust, oxidation, excess glue and burrs.
• It polishes and prepares a surface before painting or gluing.
• Suitable for metal, plastic and wood; the amount of fiber exposed is controlled by how far it is extended.

Who it is for

For modelers who work with photo-etch and metal parts and need to clean them up, deburr them and prepare the surface. Suitable for advanced modelers and careful beginners.

This is a cleaning tool, not a model. Caution: fine glass fibers come loose — work carefully, do not let them prick your skin, ideally use gloves and wipe the work surface down afterwards.
